From One Print Sale a Year to Nine in Six Months ~ Phillip Burrow Student Review

I received a wonderful review from one of my students, Phillip Burrow, and I'm so excited about the results he is getting after taking my class! I teach photographers how to use social media to market their art to sell prints.
Phillip has been on Fine Art America since 2013. He went from making one print sale a year to 9 sales in 6 months after taking my class. This is what he wrote:
"I’ve been on Fine Art America for years, but I didn’t really get serious about the "business" side of my art until I retired. Looking back, taking Liesl Walsh’s class was a major turning point for me.
One of the biggest takeaways was learning how to actually use a Facebook Page as a
professional platform. Before, I was just posting pictures, but Liesl showed me how to build a brand and connect with an audience that truly cares about the work. Her approach helped me see Facebook as a strategic tool rather than just a social hobby.
The best part? Her explanations finally made everything click. She doesn’t just tell you what to do; she explains the why behind it. I still have so much to learn, but her clarity and
encouragement have given me a foundation I didn't have before.
The results have been a great start. I began this Facebook journey at the end of August, and while I’m still figuring things out, the difference is clear. In the entire year before her class, I had only sold one photograph. Now, six months in, I’ve sold nine.
