How I Reached 25K Followers on Facebook

I'm so excited to have a milestone this week! This past Monday I reached 25K followers on Facebook!

This time last year I was at 10K followers, and in one year they more than doubled to 25K, without doing any ads.

How did I do it? Over a decade ago I had no idea how to gain followers on social media. I only had a few hundred followers (friends and family) for a couple years. It was a slow, frustrating start. I was waiting for people to discover me so I could show my photography and sell prints. And not much was happening.

Then I realized I needed to go find the people myself. Find where they are hanging out on social media, connect with them, and then invite them to hang out with me on my business page. And things started to happen! I began selling my prints and my audience grew.

I spent years trying different strategies and found what worked. Some of them worked very fast. I reached 3,000 followers by 2020, and by 2024 I reached 10,000 followers. Then a year later I grew to 25,000. I have sold over 900 prints online with hundreds of images licensed to clients. And I have become well known locally for my art with people collecting my work. 

I want the same success for you: to reach thousands of clients a week to expose new people to your art and boost print sales. 

I've developed a time-tested strategy to find people in your niche to make meaningful connections with them and to build your audience. 

It's based on developing trust with your audience that grows over time and nurturing those relationships so clients collect your art. 

I use specific techniques to reach a large number of people, get discovered by other businesses, and drive traffic to my website, with over 110k visitors to my site in the last month and a total of over 1.4 Million visitors.
